Guiding Principles

The MW Orthopaedic Centre strives for the highest, most advanced orthopaedic care for all patients. Manual and non-invasive techniques are applied, based on decades of experience in the field of sports medicine and combined with the most modern technological procedures.

The comprehensive and holistic examination and treatment of our patients is possible through the integration of the disciplines of orthopaedics, sports medicine, radiology and physiotherapy. The interdisciplinary amalgamation allows close consultation in the therapy of the various symptoms and injuries, and thus makes optimal therapy management possible.

Our focus lies in the conservative therapy of sport orthopaedic and sports medicine diseases and injuries, joint injuries, injuries to muscles and tendon tissue, as well as acute and degenerative damage to the spine. The consulting hours are the key element in which each patient and disease is given the time that is necessary.

A detailed examination with manual diagnostics, palpation and function tests is supplemented by highly modern diagnostic procedures like magnetic resonance tomography, which is available in the immediate vicinity.

Treatment is carried out almost exclusively with herbal, biological and homeopathic medicines, i.e. side-effect free medicines, following the methods which have been developed by Dr. H.-W. Müller-Wohlfahrt throughout his more than 30 years of experience in the treatment of national and international top athletes from various disciplines.

For special problems, there is close co-operation with a selected and well-functioning network of national and international specialists. Transferals on short-notice are usually possible as a general rule and can be arranged by us on site.

In addition to optimal patient care, one of our declared aims is to train the future generation of doctors and to scientifically fortify the wealth of experience we possess.
