Diagnostic Investigations

The ultrasound diagnostic investigation, as a dynamic process, is often indispensible in the exact,  readily reproducible investigation of the musculoskeletal system.  Modern, state-of-the-art devices with high frequency, high resolution ultrasound probes make it possible to exactly determine muscle, ligament and tendon injuries, joint complaints and much more. 

The conventional x-ray diagnostics continue to be, in addition to ultrasound, the imaging of choice for most orthopaedic syptoms. Modern, digital x-ray facilities are available for this purpose. 

In the MW Orthopaedic Centre, as an enhancement to the x-ray diagnostics, there is a modern, state-of-the-art MRT available. Injuries and illnesses can be clarified through the use of high resolution imaging, with microscopic depiction among others.

In co-operation with well-known laboratory doctors and facilities, we offer comprehensive laboratory dignostics, including the gathering of specific parameters (trace elements, amino-acids, etc.)
